Lightwork Labs was born out of necessity.

As business owners and professionals in various industries, the founding members of Lightwork Labs had frequent need of copywriting, web development, design and translation services, but were unable to find good solutions locally. Service providers generally didn't provide the level of service and quality that we needed or were simply too expensive.

To meet our own needs, we developed a shared pool of resources to perform these services for our various companies and began working with some of the top developers, designers and writers around. We started building teams, evolving our own work flow, and optimizing the efficiency of our resources.

This resulted in an immediate improvement in quality, speed and effectiveness, leading to more and more people asking to hire our internal services.

Given the strong demand, we eventually decided to offer our services to the public, helping to fill the unmet needs of the marketplace.

And thus Lightwork Labs was formed.

Our founding team hold degrees from some of the premier universities in the world, including Stanford University and Cambridge University. We have distilled best practices from decades of collective work experience in the US, the UK, and across South East Asia to create a company that is professional yet personal – a company that we are proud to be part of.  

Breadth of expertise is one of our biggest strengths – we include professional journalists, PR consultants, computer scientists, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, linguists and designers on our team, each with extensive experience in their chosen specialties, and a shared passion in doing good work.

We do things a little differently here at Lightwork Labs.

• We prioritize the quality of our services and products over profits – if you aren’t happy, we aren’t happy.

• Once a team is assigned to your project, they work ONLY on your project for the duration of the project. No juggling of multiple projects, no pushing back of timelines for the sake of fitting in other work priorities. This ensures that your project team is free to focus on producing their best work, as well as ensuring rapid delivery and responsiveness.

• We make no compromises when it comes to fulfilling our core mission of providing a better class of service, and we hire accordingly. We are careful to take only the best people that we can find, in terms of skills, attitude and cultural fit.

• Privacy is a big thing to us. Any and all data provided to us during the course of a project engagement will be kept secure and confidential. We have strict protocols in place to keep client information locked in silos, where even other employees unrelated to the project cannot access them. In fact, without your explicit permission, even your existence as a client is confidential.
